Stripe worked with Dundee City Council to launch the first phase of Dundee’s new destination marketing strategy, which has the ultimate aim of attracting more people to visit, work, study and invest in the city. ‘One City, Many Discoveries’ builds on the city’s heritage but also reflects today’s Dundee – a diverse, contemporary and innovative city which is home to world leading scientific research, a thriving creative sector and offers a fantastic quality of life.
Securing support from a host of inspirational individuals connected to the city, Stripe formed the ‘Dundee Ambassadors’ – a group which included figures such as actor Brian Cox and presenter Lorraine Kelly as well as scientist Sir Philip Cohen and local musician Ged Grimes. Their stories about what makes Dundee tick form a key part of the campaign, and can be found at www.dundee.com
Further strands of ‘One City, Many Discoveries’ supported by Stripe include ‘Dundee & Me’ - a call to locals to share what they love about their hometown - and a new City Guide.
