Investing in mental health support in the work place

Working with the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH), Stripe developed a targeted national and regional media communications strategy to launch its ‘Dismissed?’ campaign in October 2010.
Using SAMH research that showed that Scottish employers could save £1million a day by properly investing in mental health support in the work place, the innovative campaign was the first that linked together the benefits system and employment to focus on the whole employability journey of people with mental health problems.
We supported the national media strategy with an extensive business and stakeholder outreach to directly engage with and influence employers and encourage them to sign up to the campaign.
