Stripe worked with the UK’s newest and most exciting sports charity initiative, Gold Challenge, to encourage Scots to raise millions of pounds for charities whilst trying out new sports in the run up to the London Olympics in 2012 and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014.  The ambition of Gold Challenge, a not for profit organisation, is to raise £20m for charity by the end of 2012 and such is the potential of the initiative to inspire the country, Gold Challenge has garnered support and partnership from over 100 leading charities from across the UK.

Working in partnership with the British Olympic Association and ParalympicsGB and Active Nation, Gold Challenge allows people throughout the UK to test their skills and develop their competitive edge in 5, 10, 20 or 30 Olympic or Paralympic sports.Stripe helped launch Gold Challenge in Scotland with a media event at the Scotstoun stadium, which included a sports demonstration from a range of partners and was attended Commonwealth athlete Lee McConnell
