Food Festival Gets a Taste of Success
Stripe Events served up a recipe of success this weekend at the annualTaste of Edinburgh festival with just under 20,000 visitors over three days, 12 top restaurants serving over 35,000 sample sized signature dishes and chef demonstrations from over 30 leading chefs.
Managing director of Stripe Events, Juliet Simpson said; “Taste has quickly established itself as Scotland’s favourite food and drink festival. Our ultimate aim this year was to pack even more into the Taste of Edinburgh visitor experience. With 113 celebrity chef demonstrations, 6 new interactive food features, 100 Scottish suppliers and more opportunities to try and buy than ever before, there’s no doubt that this was the best Taste of Edinburgh experience yet. We’d like to thank all the restaurants, chefs and exhibitors for their support.
“Despite the weekend’s mixed weather, the Festival went out on a high with record visitor numbers and glorious sunshine on Sunday evening.”
